Italian superbike manufacturer, MV Agusta, has unveiled the 2021 Brutale 1000 RR globally. The updated version of the street naked superbike now comes with a host of new features, along with a Euro-5 compliant engine. The motorcycle is priced at 32,300 Euros (Rs 28.70 lakh).
The 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR is powered by a 998cc in-line 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 208 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 116.5 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The updated engine now comes with sintered valves, DLC tappets and a slightly redesigned exhaust, allowing it to comply with the stringent emission norms. The engine is further paired to a 6-speed gearbox with an electronically-assisted bi-directional quick-shifter.
In terms of design, the 2021 Brutale 1000 RR carries forward the aggressive styling from its previous models. It features LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a sculpted fuel tank, an aggressive riding position with rear-set footpegs, LED tail lights and quad exhaust tips.
MV Agusta also offers the Brutale 1000 RR with a 5.5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth navigation and a built-in Mobistat tracker. It also features cornering ABS from Continental, IMU, traction control and wheelie control; among a host of other riding aids.
The 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR comes with Ohlins 43 mm upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Both offer complete adjustability, along with electrically controlled compression and rebound. Braking on the motorcycle is via dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels with 120/70 and 200/55 tyre profile at the front and rear, respectively. The Brutale 1000 RR also comes with a kerb weight of just 186 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres.
