More information about the next generation Force Gurkha has been floating on social media. It reportedly comes from a person who got to experience the off-roader first hand.
According to him, the 4-seat layout with separate captain seats for the 2-row is very comfortable. The all-black dashboard is new and comparable to the old Mahindra Thar. The car was equipped with a Kenwood stereo with a touchscreen, front and rear lockers, rear pintle hook, steps to the roof carrier and rear parking sensors.
The new Gurkha is expected to be powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 89 BHP and 260 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, a low range gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.
The Gurkha will be offered with independent front suspension featuring double wishbones and a rigid axle at the rear.
