More images of the next generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR have surfaced online. This time, the car was spotted at a stock yard. The latest images reveal the car's exterior as well as interior details.
The new WagonR has a rectangular grille with a chrome strip flanked by large sweptback headlamp clusters. It has a dual-tone front bumper that houses circular fog lamps. The new model has a tallboy side profile and this particular car is equipped with electric ORVMs that have integrated turn signals. Moving to the rear, the C-pillar has L-shaped black trim and vertically-stacked tail lamp clusters. The car has two parking sensors at the rear and is riding on steel wheels that are expected to get wheel covers.
The next generation WagonR comes with dual-tone interiors with beige upholstery. The seats don't come with adjustable headrests. It has a dual-tone dashboard with silver trim and a touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. There are circular AC vents on either side of the dashboard. Furthermore, the car has a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and an instrument cluster with a large circular speedometer and a circular digital display on the right-hand side.
The new WagonR is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, while the 1.2-litre unit pictured here is rumoured to be offered on the top ZXi variant. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
