The next-generation Hyundai Verna has leaked ahead of its official debut. The latest spy images come from South Korea, showcasing the upcoming sedan in full detail.
The next-gen Verna features a completely new exterior design inspired by the Elantra. The styling is based on the brand’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ philosophy.
Hyundai designers have tried to add some excitement to the Verna’s design by giving it a large grille, sleek LED daytime running lights and an LED light bar that stretches across the width of the front fascia. The car has sharp feature lines along the sides and L-shaped taillights with an LED light bar at the rear.
Hyundai's mid-size sedan will be offered with two engine options: an all-new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed IVT.
The next-gen Hyundai Verna will be launched on March 21, 2023. It will compete with the Skoda Slavia, VW Virtus and Honda City.
