The updated MG ZS was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. A prototype of the SUV has now been spotted testing.
The petrol-powered ZS gets a few cosmetic updates including a redesigned front fascia and new headlamp clusters. The front and rear bumpers have been reworked and the SUV rides on new dual-tone alloy wheels.
The MG ZS sold in the international market gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera and navigation. It also gets a flat-bottom steering wheel.
It is offered with three petrol engine options which include a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged unit producing 109 BHP and 160 Nm, a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine with either 123 BHP or 161 BHP and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit producing 105 BHP and 150 Nm.
According to a Transport Department document, the MG ZS could be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.0-litre petrol hybrid powertrains in India.
