Maruti Suzuki has silently made some updates to its NEXA cars. We recently reported the addition of ISOFIX child seat mounts on the Baleno hatchback. Now, the automaker has changed the alloy wheels of the S-Cross crossover, which will now come with 16-inch gunmetal wheels. No pricing changes have been made to both these cars.
The S-Cross will get new gunmetal alloys on the Zeta and Alpha trims. It must be noted here that the earlier alloy wheel design was widely condemned to be too bland and unappealing. Though they were 16-inchers, lack of a dynamic design made them look like wheel caps. The new multi-spoke alloys look comparatively better and will likely add to the car's appeal.
Maruti will be launching the Ignis hatchback crossover on January 13, 2017, which will be the third car to retail through the NEXA dealership chain. The Baleno RS, which is a high-performance variant of the Baleno, is also expected to be launched sometime next year.
