Maruti Suzuki has slashed the prices of the S-Cross by up to Rs. 2,05,000. Here's a look at the changes in the prices of the different variants of the car.
S-Cross DDiS 200: The prices of the DDiS 200 have been slashed by Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 66,000.
The Sigma trim level, which was earlier priced at Rs. 8.34 lakh, now costs Rs. 7.79 lakh. The Delta is now priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh, Rs. 66,000 down from Rs. 9.15 lakh. The price of the Zeta trim level has been slashed from Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 9.59 lakh, a difference of Rs. 40,000. The price of the Alpha variant is down by Rs. 46,000 from Rs. 10.75 lakh to Rs. 10.29 lakh.
S-Cross DDiS 320: The prices of the DDiS 320 have been cut by Rs. 2,05,000 across all trim levels.
The price of the Delta trim level has come down from Rs. 11.99 lakh to Rs. 9.94 lakh. The Zeta, which was earlier priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh, now costs Rs. 10.94 lakh. The top-of-the-line Alpha trim level is now priced at Rs. 11.69 lakh. It was launched at a price of Rs. 13.74 lakh.
The S-Cross has failed to make an impact in the market. The car was launched in August 2015 and by September, dealerships had started offering discounts on it to attract more customers.
