The special edition Mahindra XUV700 built to commemorate athlete Neeraj Chopra's success at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics has been spotted.
The XUV700 Neeraj Chopra Edition gets gold inserts on the grille and gold stitching on the interior. There's also a special embroidered motif on the dashboard with the number '87.58' (meters) - his gold medal-winning throw at the Olympics.
This special edition XUV700 is likely to be based on the top-spec AX7 trim. It seems to be equipped with the 'Optional pack' that includes features such as Immersive 3D Sound by Sony, electrically deployed Smart Door Handles, 360-degree camera, Blind View Monitoring, Electronic Park Brake and Wireless Charging.
The XUV700 comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
