Mahindra XUV500 AT put on hold

Mahindra has either put the launch of the BS6 XUV500 AT on hold or it has been postponed indefinitely.

The car's brochure has been updated and they now only show the MT variants. The image of the 6-speed Aisin AT gearbox has also been removed from the brochure. However, the technical specifications still mentions the AT gearbox and the website has listed the AT variants as well.

To a comment on Facebook, Mahindra replied confirming that at present, the AT variants of the XUV500 are not available. At launch, Mahindra had disclosed only the prices of the MT variants.

It is possible that the unavailability of the AT variants is due to supply chain issues.
