Mahindra recalls 2,300 units of Xylo, Scorpio and XUV500

Utility vehicle major Mahindra is recalling 2,300 units of the Scorpio, XUV500 and Xylo to rectify a defective vacuum pump in their engines.

This recall is pertinent to the VLX, SLE and LX variants of the Scorpio, W4, W6 and W8 variants of the XUV500 and H4, H9 and H8 variants of the Xylo manufactured in May this year.

The company will contact the owners of the affected vehicles individually. A preventive inspection will be carried out and if required, the vacuum pump will be replaced at no cost to the customers.
