Earlier this week, there was a report in the media claiming that Mahindra was planning to discontinue the Marazzo MPV and the KUV100 crossover. Well, now a new report claims otherwise.
The latest report states that Mahindra has no plans to discontinue these models anytime soon. Moreover, the carmaker is gearing up to introduce an AMT version of the Marazzo. It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 121 BHP and 300 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
It is also said that the KUV100 will continue to be a part of the brand's product portfolio. While local sales of the model are down, export volumes have been on the rise and therefore, Mahindra does not intend to discontinue it.
