Mahindra to launch the e2o electric car on 18th March

Mahindra Reva announces that it will launch its next generation electric vehicle, the e2o, on 18th March 2013 at New Delhi. The e2o was unveiled at the Auto Expo in January 2012.

The e2o is built on the capability of using the futuristic ecosystem of Sun2Car; these charging stations derive energy from the sun, thus protecting and preserving the environment. The car will use next-gen Lithium Ion batteries and will have a range of 100 kms on a full charge. The e2o can be charged through any 15 amp plug point, over and above Sun2Car solar technology.

The e2o will be produced at Mahindra Reva’s facility at Bengaluru. It has a manufacturing capacity of 30,000 cars per annum.
