Macan Turbo with Performance Package launched at Rs. 1.4 cr.

Porsche has launched the Macan Turbo equipped with the Performance Package in India at a price of Rs. 1,40,58,000 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). This variant sits at the top of the Macan range.

The Macan Turbo with the Performance Package gets more power, new brakes and a sportier chassis compared to the regular Macan Turbo. The car's 3.6-litre, V6, twin-turbocharged petrol engine develops 434 BHP and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a PDK double-clutch transmission. Porsche claims that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 272 km/h. In Sport Plus mode, the time taken to accelerate from 80 km/h to 120 km/h is 2.9 seconds.

At the front, the car gets 390 mm grooved brake discs, which are 30 mm larger than those of the regular Macan Turbo and red coloured six-piston brake callipers. The car also gets a lowered body, controlled sports chassis, Sport Chrono Package and sports exhaust system as standard. Other features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and air suspension with self-levelling function and height adjustment.

The Macan Turbo equipped with the Performance Package can be customised as well. On offer is the Turbo Exterior Package, which includes 21-inch wheels in the 911 Turbo design with lateral spokes painted in high-gloss black, LED main headlights equipped with PDLS Plus and various other elements finished in black. The Turbo Interior Package includes a black leather interior with Alcantara elements, colour applique in various areas and carbon elements such as the scuff plates with the model logo lit up in white.
