Lexus NX300h launched at Rs. 53.18 lakh

The Lexus NX300h was unveiled in India last month. The hybrid SUV has now been launched at a base price of Rs. 53.18 lakh for the NX300h Luxury, while the NX300h F-Sport is priced at Rs. 55.58 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The NX300h is Lexus' fourth model to be launched in India. The SUV measures 4,640 mm in overall length, 2,130 mm in width and 1,645 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,660 mm. The vehicle offers 475 litres of boot space and comes with a 56-litre fuel tank.

The NX300h gets Lexus' spindle grille in the front flanked by LED headlights and V-shaped LED DRLs. It also has LED fog lamps and cornering lamps. The rear features arrow-shaped tail lights and an integrated roof spoiler.

The NX300h gets host of interior upholstery options in both the variants. The F-Sport has primarily black leather interiors with a choice of yellow, red or while accents while the Luxury variant gets dual tone leather interiors with an option for maroon, tan, white or beige seats and an option of black or white dashboard. It gets a 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display and an analogue clock. The infotainment system has integrated navigation and can be operated via a touchpad. The SUV comes with a three-spoke, multi-functional steering wheel and a twin-pod instrument cluster. It has power-folding and power-reclining rear seats and kick-sensor activated powered tailgate in addition to dual-zone climate control and 8-way adjustable memory seats.

Under the bonnet is a 2,494cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine which makes 194 BHP @ 5,700 rpm and peak torque of 210 Nm @ 4,200-4,400 rpm. The engine is paired with an electric motor that is mounted on the rear axle. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) is the only available gearbox option. There are 5 driving modes to choose from - Eco, Normal, Sport, Sport+ and Custom. The NX300h can drive in full-electric mode at low speeds.

Some of the notable features offered on the NX300h include adaptive suspension, idling start/stop, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, 8 airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), ABS, hill start assist, traction control and rear view camera with park assist.
