Land Rover Discovery Sport facelift launched

Land Rover has launched the Discovery Sport facelift in India. The updated SUV is available in two variants S and R-Dynamic SE priced at Rs. 57.06 lakh and Rs. 60.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The new Discovery Sport is based on the Premium Transverse Architecture and measures 4,600 mm in length, 2,069 mm in width, 1,724 mm in height and its wheelbase is 2,741 mm. It features a revised grille and new LED headlights with LED daytime running lights. It also gets a new front bumper with a trapezoidal air dam. At the rear, the SUV gets new tail lamps and a dual-tone rear bumper.

On the inside, the new model comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The SUV gets the Clear Sight IRVM, wireless charging, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot and a fixed panoramic roof,

The Discovery Sport is available with 2.0-litre petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system that puts out 245 BHP and 365 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 177 BHP and 430 Nm. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and have all-wheel drive.
