Land Rover Discovery facelift spied

Spy images of the updated Land Rover Discovery have surfaced online.

The new Discovery is likely to receive minor exterior updates including revised headlights, tail lamps and reworked bumpers. The SUV could also get upgraded equipment.

The new Discovery is expected to be offered with 4 and 6-cylinder diesel engine options. Reports suggest that Land Rover might also offer a P400e plug-in hybrid variant powered by the 4-cylinder engine similar to the one available in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.

In India, the Discovery is available with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which produces 296 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,500-4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission and has all-wheel drive.
