KTM 390 Enduro R launched at Rs 3.37 lakh

The 390 Enduro R shares its underpinnings with the 390 Adventure.

The KTM 390 Enduro R has been launched in the Indian market. The bike is priced at Rs 3,36,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 390 Enduro R shares its underpinnings with the 390 Adventure. It is based on a 2-piece steel trellis frame. It has 25 mm handlebar risers, sub-frame mounts and is engineered specifically for off-road use.

The bike is suspended using an adjustable 43 mm open cartridge fork at the front with 200 mm of travel and an adjustable WP Apex mono-shock at the rear offering 205 mm of travel. A second variant of the 390 Enduro R with 230 mm suspension will be introduced at a later date.

The 390 Enduro R rides on spoked wheels with a 21-inch rim at the front and 18-inch at the back, shod with 90/90 R21 and 140/80 R18 tyres, respectively.

The 390 Enduro R uses the same 399cc, single-cylinder engine, which also powers the Gen-3 KTM 390 Duke. The new LC4c engine features a larger valve cover with a smaller cylinder head, new fuel injectors, a redesigned airbox and a new exhaust.

The gearbox has also been improved for quicker, smoother and responsive shifts. A slipper clutch is standard, while the Quickshifter+ system is available as an option. Riders can choose from Street and Off-Road modes, with the latter offering more rear wheel slip, and can even turn off the traction control system altogether.

The 390 Enduro R comes with a new 4.2-inch digital instrument console with features like Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also has a USB-C charging port and a dedicated switch to turn off ABS.
