KTM has launched the 250 Adventure priced at Rs. 2,48,256 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 250 Adventure looks similar to the 390 Adventure. It has LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlamp and a windscreen. The bike has a digital instrument cluster, stepped seat and a single side-mounted exhaust. It comes with a 14.5-litre fuel tank.
The bike is powered by a 248cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 29.5 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm @ 7,500 rpm and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox via slipper clutch.
The bike uses 43 mm WP APEX upside down fork with 170 mm of travel at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rides on 19-inch and 17-inch cast wheels at the front and rear respectively. Braking is handled by a 320 mm disc brake with a 4-piston caliper at the front and a 230 mm rear disc. It comes with dual-channel ABS that has an off-road mode.
