Kia Seltos prices hiked by upto Rs. 35,000

Kia has increased the prices of the Seltos SUV. The revised prices will be applicable from January 2, 2020 onwards.

The price hike ranges from Rs. 20,000 for the Tech Line Petrol HTE trim to Rs. 35,000 for the Tech Line Diesel models including the GTX+ AT variant. Prices of all other variants of the Tech Line Petrol trim have gone up by Rs. 30,000. Similarly, prices of all GT Line Petrol variants have also been hiked by Rs. 30,000.

The Kia Seltos was launched in August 2019 at a starting price of Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the recent price hike, the Seltos range now starts at Rs. 9.89 lakh.

The Seltos is available with three engine options. These include a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 113 BHP and 144 Nm of torque paired with either a 6-speed manual or IVT automatic transmission, a 1.4-litre, turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 138 BHP and 242 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit that makes 113 BHP and 250 Nm of torque, which is available with a choice of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
