Kawasaki Z900 Limited Edition launched at Rs. 7.68 lakh

Kawasaki has launched a limited edition of the Z900 naked street bike in India. Priced at Rs. 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike comes in single-tone metallic spark black colour with new decals. Initially, only 30 units will be available and if demand for this colour persists then more units might be imported.

Mechanically, the Limited Edition is identical to the regular Z900, which was launched in March 2017. The Z900 is built around a trellis frame and measures 2,065 mm in length, 825 mm in width and a height of 1,065 mm. It has a wheelbase of 1,450 mm and a seat height of 795 mm. The bike weighs 208 kg and has a 17-litre fuel tank. 

Powered the Z900 is a 948cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 123 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm @ 7,700 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike uses an adjustable 41 mm inverted fork suspension in the front and a horizontal back-link at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 300 mm dual semi-floating petal discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a single 250 mm petal disc with a single piston caliper at the rear. The bike is equipped with ABS. It rides on 17-inch rims shod with 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17 tyres in the front and rear respectively.

The Z900 is built in Thailand and is imported into India as a CBU.
