Kawasaki teases Z650RS 50th anniversary edition for India

Kawasaki is gearing up to launch the Z650RS 50th anniversary edition in India. The teaser image shared by the company reveals a silhouette of the upcoming bike.

Kawasaki currently offers the standard Z650RS in India. The 50th anniversary edition has been built to commemorate 50 years of the iconic Z1 motorcycle.

The Z650RS 50th anniversary edition comes in a special Firecracker Red colour scheme. The bike features gold alloy wheels that add a nice contrast.

Powering the special edition is the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine as the standard Z650RS. It produces 67 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm @ 6,700 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike gets a 41 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and a horizontal back-link with preload adjustability at the back. 300 mm dual front discs and a 220 mm single rear disc handle the braking duties.
