India's Jehan Daruvala took his maiden Formula 2 victory at the Sakhir GP this weekend. The 22-year old from Mumbai battled with F2 Champion Mick Schumacher and Daniel Ticktum to win the race.
Jehan lined-up alongside pole sitter Daniel Ticktum at the start of the race but dropped to third after Schumacher overtook him.
After battling with Schumacher for a few laps, he finally got past and began his charge to catch the race leader. With 10 laps remaining, Jehan overtook Ticktum and won the race ahead of Yuki Tsunoda. Ticktum finished in third place.
While Mick Schumacher finished in 18th place, a healthy lead over his nearest championship rival, saw him secure the 2020 Formula 2 title.
