The Jeep Compass facelift has been spotted in Mumbai ahead of its official unveiling. The SUV will be offered in a new shade of green. We think it looks rather classy, especially at night.
The updated Compass looks similar to the outgoing model but gets subtle changes like a slimmer grille, a new front bumper and LED headlamps. The SUV gets a dual-tone interior with a redesigned dashboard, a new 3-spoke steering wheel and a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that gets Amazon Alexa support.
The Compass facelift is likely to retain the same set of engines as before. These include the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel and the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. The petrol is offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the diesel gets an optional 9-speed automatic.
The India-spec Compass facelift will be unveiled on January 7, 2021.
