Jaguar E-PACE teased ahead of global premiere on July 13

Jaguar has released a couple of teaser images of its upcoming E-PACE compact performance SUV, which is expected to make its global premiere on July 13, 2017. The E-PACE will be Jaguar's third SUV product, after the F-PACE and the I-PACE concept.

Jaguar has experienced a fair bit of success with its first SUV offering - the F-PACE. During the span of last year, Jaguar claims that the performance SUV has boosted the company's annual sales by 83%. In order to further benefit from the SUV craze all across the globe, the all-electric I-PACE concept is scheduled to go into production next year. Now, with the E-PACE, Jaguar is aiming to further broaden the target audience of its SUV portfolio.

The E-PACE is expected to be a smaller sibling of the F-PACE. The overall styling will be shared between both the SUVs, though there will be some changes in the dimensions, front design elements and the silhouette. The interiors too are expected to borrow certain elements from the F-PACE, though the feature list will get some alterations.

Jaguar has also revealed that the E-PACE will come with standard all-wheel drive system. Engine options will likely include 2.0-litre engines of the Ingenium family.
