According to a media report, Isuzu has postponed its BS6 model launch to Q2 of FY2020-21 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The government of India has mandated March 31, 2020 as the deadline for the registration of BS4 vehicles. Only BS6-compliant vehicles will be sold from April 1, 2020, barring the exception where the Supreme Court has allowed limited sale of unsold BS4 stock.
Isuzu has also extended the warranty and periodic maintenance service deadlines to the end of May 2020. This is applicable for all vehicles whose warranty expires during March 15 to April 15, 2020 and also for those vehicles that were due for periodic maintenance during this period.
