Installed my old XL6 with wheels & suspension from new facelift model

The upgrade has given a new life to my XL6, definitely a must for any pre-facelift XL6 owner.

After months of contemplating and running in the old tyres and suspension, I finally swapped out the current set with the ones from the facelift.

What’s the change?

Right off the bat, the raised ground clearance now gives a much more commanding view from the driver’s seat, very much like an SUV.

• The initial response is a tad bit more sluggish than before due to the larger weight of the wheels.
• Steering also has become slightly more weighted but I honestly prefer it that way.
• No more squeaky sounds from bumps and potholes.
• The body roll has significantly reduced.
• The car feels much more stable at higher speeds now, ripple/bouncy motion has been arrested.
• Ride quality has significantly improved.

In conclusion, the upgrade has given a new life to my XL6, definitely a must for any pre-facelift XL6 owner.
