Patent images of the all-new Honda BR-V have been leaked. The production-ready version of the 7-seater SUV is expected to make its global debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which is scheduled to be held in August 2021.
The registered patent images consist of pictures of the car’s headlights, radiator grille, front bumper, tail lights and rear bumper. The pictures indicate that these parts are not very different from those seen on the Honda N7X Concept, which was revealed in May 2021.
The Honda N7X Concept had a bulge on its left mirror which served as a camera mount. The same bulge is seen in the patent images as well. This indicates the presence of the Honda Lane Watch system, which monitors the left side of the car to expand visibility and reduce the driver's blind spot.
The one difference that we could spot between the N7X concept and production-ready BR-V is that the lower DRLs in the BR-V have been replaced by fog lamps.
