India's first Kawasaki Ninja H2R delivered

India's first Kawasaki Ninja H2R was delivered to its owner on March 3, 2019. The Ninja H2R is priced at Rs. 72 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it one of the most expensive bikes in the country.

The Ninja H2R is built for the track and is not street legal. It comes with carbon fiber bodywork and does not have a headlamp or turn signals. The bike comes equipped with 43 mm inverted fork suspension at the front and an Ohlins monoshock at the rear.

The Ninja H2R is powered by a supercharged 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder engine that produces 322 BHP @ 14,000 rpm and a peak torque of 165 Nm @ 12,500 rpm thanks to a RAM air intake. Braking is handled by twin 330 mm Brembo discs with dual semi-floating 4-piston calipers at the front and a single 250 mm disc at the rear paired with a 2-piston caliper.

Other features include a titanium exhaust, Kawasaki Quick Shifter, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function and a digital instrument cluster that displays the bank angle along with other vital information.
