Iconic Land Rover Defender 110 abandoned in Chennai

A Land Rover Defender 110 has been abandoned and left to rust in Chennai. This SUV is known for its ruggedness and versatility.

The 5-door version of the legendary off-roader has missing door handles and a part of the 'Land Rover' badge has also disappeared. There are also 'TDI' and '110' decals at the rear and on the front fenders, where 110 refers to the wheelbase (2,794 mm). It also has 'Intercooler Turbo' stickers on the side. This Defender is finished in Maroon and has a white roof. Interestingly, this classic SUV also has a rear defogger.

This particular car seems to be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The Defender also came with 2.25-litre petrol and diesel engines as well as 2.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. A 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine was also offered. The SUV came in a 3-door body style, as a 2-door pickup truck and a 3-door van. Take a look at this Defender which belongs to the famous 369 garage.

The new generation of the Defender was unveiled in September 2019. The SUV will be sold in India and bookings are open.
