I installed Puig winglets and brake cooling ducts on my Kawasaki ZX-10R

The winglets did reduce the front wheel lift, specially at the very long BIC straights and that did allow the wheelie control to intervene lesser

BHPian narula123 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Considering the feedback from the previous BIC session, I was better prepared when I hit Buddh the next time in November'24.

Had installed Puig downforce winglets at the front and the, rather massive, Puig brake cooling ducts on the front brakes.

The winglets looked gimmicky but the literature from Puig was encouraging to show upto 4-5kgs of downforce upwards of 250 kmph. The fitment was quite decently uncomplicated. The front cooling ducts were considerably more complex to install with some OEM parts removed to make way for the ABS sensor cable etc to be routed differently now. The ducts also mandate that you can only install a triple-tree type of front paddock now. Made of decently sturdy plastic but be ready for some extra effort everytime you wish to remove your brake calipers or the front wheels.

Happy to say, they both worked very well at the track . The winglets did reduce the front wheel lift, specially at the very long BIC straights and that did allow the wheelie control to intervene lesser. Was it zero? No? But its still a saving grace. The brake coolers also worked like a charm and I had almost ZERO brake fade the entire duration of the track weekend which was better than what I had anticipated. The coolers do have some sort of aero effect (visually) around the lower part of the disc but I have no idea on what effect (if any) it had on the front.

They both arent cheap though on prices and be ready to shell upwards of 25k for either.
