Hyundai's integrated e-scooter for last-mile connectivity

Hyundai has developed a lightweight, foldable electric scooter for last mile connectivity. It could be integrated into future Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

The new e-scooter prototype is based on the concept that was showcased at CES 2017. It weighs 7.7 kg and features a tri-folding design. It comes with a digital display that shows battery status and speed. It is equipped with LED headlights and tail lights. The scooter has front suspension and rear-wheel drive.

The e-scooter is powered by a 10.5 Ah lithium battery that offers a maximum range of 20 km on a single charge. It has a claimed top speed of 20 km/h. The scooter can be charged automatically when mounted on a vehicle. Electricity produced while driving is used to charge the scooter.
