The next-gen Hyundai Verna has been spotted at a stockyard, which suggests that dealer dispatches have commenced. This also gives us a chance to take a look at the car’s interior.
You may have seen several images of the swanky exterior of the new Verna by now. Well, the interior has also undergone a thorough makeover. It has a dual-tone dashboard with dual screens that house the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. The car features a 2-spoke multi-function steering wheel.
Some might find the exterior design of the Verna a bit polarizing. It’s certainly unconventional. The car features a wide front grille with LED headlights on either side and an LED light bar that stretches across the front fascia. It has L-shaped LED taillights with an LED light bar at the rear.
The Verna will be available in four variants: EX, S, SX and SX (O). It will come with 30 standard safety features and 17 Level 2 ADAS features. Powering the Verna will be an all-new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed IVT.
