The Hyundai Grand i10 and Xcent are now available in CNG variants. The petrol versions of the hatchback and compact sedan can be fitted with sequential CNG kits at dealer level for a price. The car come with a 2 year, unlimited kilometres company warranty.

Hyundai calls this technology DEDST (Dual ECU Dynamic Sequential Technology).

The petrol versions of the Grand i10 and Xcent are powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder engine that makes 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. Both cars come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 4-speed automatic transmission is also available. However, the CNG kits are available in the manual versions of the cars only.

IN CNG mode, the Grand i10 and Xcent will produce lesser power than when driven in petrol mode.
