Hyundai Creta Sports Edition launched at Rs. 12.78 lakh

Hyundai has launched the Creta Sports Edition in India. The SUV is available with either petrol or diesel engines and prices start at Rs. 12.78 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Creta Sports Edition is available in two colour options - Phantom Black and a dual-tone Polar White with a Phantom Black roof. Other exterior updates include smoked projector headlamps, black and dark chrome grille, silver skid plates, rear spoiler, black ORVMs and silver roof rails.

On the inside, the Sports Edition gets black fabric upholstery with the Creta script, leather-wrapped steering with contrast stitching and silver AC vent surrounds. It is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, automatic climate control, cruise control, dual airbags, ABS among others.

The Creta Sports Edition is available with a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol unit that produces 121 BHP @ 6,400 rpm and 151 Nm @ 4,850 rpm and a 1.6-litre diesel engine that puts out 126 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm @ 1,500-3,000 rpm. Both engines are only offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
