Hyundai Creta facelift brochure leaked

Spy images posted earlier this week have confirmed that the Hyundai Creta facelift has started arriving at dealerships. While, Hyundai is yet to announce the launch date of the car, leaked brochure scans have surfaced online.

According to the brochure, the Creta facelift will be available in 6 variants - E, E+, S, SX, SX (dual tone) and SX (O). The car gets a revised front grille and headlamp clusters and a redesigned front bumper with silver trim and fog lamps with C-shaped LED DRLs. At the rear, it gets tweaked tail lamps and a new bumper. Higher variants get dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof.

The interior of the new Creta is similar to the outgoing model except for minor changes like the metallic trim around the air-conditioning vents. Other features include a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, wireless phone charger, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, sliding front armrest, automatic climate control and cruise control. 

It also comes with a smart key band that can be worn around the wrist. It can be used to lock or unlock the doors and tail gate of the car and also works as fitness monitor, which can display your step count, calorie count and has a sleep monitoring function. It has a time display with an in-built alarm and incoming call alert as well.

Safety features like driver and passenger airbags and ABS will be standard across all variants. The top-end variant gets 6 airbags, Electronic Stability (ESC) Control, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Start Assist. Rear parking sensors and camera will be offered on all variants except for the E and E+.

The refreshed Creta will be offered with same set of engines as the outgoing model. These include a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel with 89 BHP and 126 BHP respectively and a 1.6-litre petrol with 123 BHP. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard, while a 6-speed automatic will be optionally available with the 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines.
