Hyundai is all set to announce the prices for the Creta facelift tomorrow. Ahead of the car’s official launch, images of the base variant have surfaced online.
The entry-level variant of the Creta was recently spotted at a dealership. Besides the black plastics and steelies with silver wheel caps, it looks fairly decent. Instead of the dual LED headlamps, the base variant gets a pair of projectors and L-shaped LED daytime running lights. This variant also misses out on roof rails, keyless entry, rear wiper and defogger.
On the interior, the base variant of the Creta also gets a dual-screen setup, albeit a smaller 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets a manual AC, a manually adjustable IRVM, electric ORVMs and a digital instrument cluster.
The Creta facelift will be available in seven variants and will be offered with three engine options - 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options will include 6-speed manual, 6-speed iVT, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT.
