Hyundai Creta EV spotted cold weather testing in Shimla

The Creta EV will likely be powered by a 45 kWh battery pack.

The Hyundai Creta EV has been spotted yet again. This time, the electric SUV was seen in Shimla during a cold weather test run.

The latest images showcase the Creta EV parked at a charging station in Sanjauli. Also, note that the test car has nicely bolstered front seats wrapped in white and grey upholstery.

The upcoming pure electric version of the Creta will be based on the facelift version launched this year. It gets the redesigned front fascia with the L-shaped LED DRLs, slim LED tail lamps and a light bar at the back. The Creta EV is expected to get a blanked-off grille and aero-optimized alloy wheels.

While technical details are unknown, the Creta EV will likely be powered by a 45 kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor borrowed from the last-gen Kona EV.
