Hyundai Creta EV spied in South Korea with fake exhaust

The Creta EV will rival the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV.e8 and Honda Elevate EV.

A test mule of what is believed to be the electric version of the Hyundai Creta has been spotted testing in South Korea.

Hyundai went to great lengths to hide the identity of this test mule. Apart from the usual black camouflage, the Creta EV test car also has a fake exhaust.

The latest spy images also suggest that the EV and ICE versions might get distinct front-end designs. As you can see, the test mule featured in these images has four LED daytime running lights, while the upcoming ICE version has a Tucson-inspired design.

Although technical details of the Creta EV are still under wraps, we can expect its performance figures to be in the same ballpark as its main rivals, which include the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV.e8 and the Honda Elevate EV.
