How to reduce the park assist warning beep volume on a Tata Altroz

It is intolerably loud & I can't find any settings to reduce the volume.

BHPian PrasannaDhana recently shared the 20,000 km update of his Tata Altroz with other enthusiasts. In his post, he talks about multiple things including the pros and cons of the car. The following point is one of the minor irritants that he has mentioned.

  • The reverse park assist has warning beeps that are too loud. As you approach an obstacle, it gets louder, which is intolerably loud. Since my house has a smaller garage, I will have to park the Altroz very close to the Storme. I just cannot find any settings in the ConnectNext app or on the infotainment to reduce the volume.

Here's what BHPian Benoit has replied:

Hi,

I own a Tata Altroz XZ diesel. I absolutely love the performance it offers. I can only imagine how much better it would perform if it had the Nexon spec diesel engine. It has been 20 months of ownership so far and I have completed 35k km. I also plan to use it as long as it lasts. It's a great machine.

I bought my car before the XZ+ was launched. My infotainment system does not have connected car features. I can reduce the park assist volume using this setting:

Settings - Vehicle Setup - Park Assist - Tone Volume

Check if it is the same UI for you.
