Honda recalls H'ness CB350 over transmission fault

Honda H'Ness CB350 bikes built between November 25 and December 12, 2020 may have a different material grade usage in the counter shaft, in the 4th gear of the transmission, which may lead to a defect upon extensive running or usage of the motorcycle. The company will contact owners of the affected bikes and the problem will be addressed at authorised Honda BigWing workshops at no cost to the customer.

Honda has issued a recall for the H'Ness CB350 in India over a problem with the bike's transmission. The recall campaign will be carried out from March 23, 2021. The company will contact owners of the affected bikes and the problem will be addressed at authorised Honda BigWing workshops at no cost to the customer.

According to Honda, bikes built between November 25 and December 12, 2020 may have a different material grade usage in the counter shaft, in the 4th gear of the transmission, which may lead to a defect upon extensive running or usage of the motorcycle. Till date there has been no report of a failure arising from this problem.

The Honda H'Ness CB350 is powered by a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.8 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with telescopic fork suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It gets disc brakes at the front and rear.

The H'Ness is available in DLX and DLX Pro variants. The latter comes with a dual-tone colour scheme, Honda Smartphone Voice Control System, LED lights, dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control.
