It has been known for quite some time now that Honda is working on a Jazz based crossover project, which has been internally codenamed as '2FM'. Now, a Zauba search shows that the automaker has exported multiple early prototype models of the Jazz crossover to Japan.
Interestingly, the export sheet also shows that Honda has prepared various versions of the Jazz crossover prototype. The exported models are powered by either a 1.2-litre or a 1.5-litre engine. Moreover, the prototypes have been developed in various variants, as Honda's trim level nomenclature (S, V, VX) are clearly visible on the Zauba export records.
We had earlier reported that Honda India has commenced production of the Jazz based crossover. The new Honda crossover is expected to launch in the second half of 2017.
