The CR-V has been the only premium petrol only SUV that managed to create a place for itself in the Indian market. It found a niche set of buyers who fell in love with its very car-like characteristics. However, over the years, the CR-V has been facing the heat from ladder-on-frame diesel-powered SUVs and its prices have only gone northwards. As of today, the company barely manages to sell this car in double digits month-after-month, but that hasn't stopped Honda from silently adding a few features to this SUV to boost its sales.
The 2.0L AT and 2.4L variants now feature a new infotainment system with a 17.7 cm (7") advanced touchscreen with HDMI video compatibility, voice recognition, Bluetooth for telephone and speed volume compensation. The driver will also get a better reverse display in the form of a new multi angle view with dynamic guidelines with audible warnings. Minor changes to interiors will also include chrome inside door handles and a tonneau cover.
In addition to the above, the 2.4L variant will also be equipped with an auto dimming mirror, engine start/stop button, keyless entry as well as keyless lock button on the tailgate. The exterior of this variant will sport a tail pipe finisher too.
No changes have been made to the 2.0L manual transmission variant. Also, mechanically, the CR-V remains the same.
Ex-showroom Delhi prices for the CR-V are:
2.0L MT: Rs. 21.09 lakhs
2.0L AT: Rs. 22.85 lakhs
2.4L AT: Rs. 25.09 lakhs
