Fiat Linea successor interior spied

Fiat has announced that a new compact sedan will make its public debut at the upcoming Istanbul motor show (22 to 31 May, 2015). It is in all likelihood, the successor to the Fiat Linea. The Italian automaker has released a teaser image, showcasing the car's C-shape tail light, new body panels, and redesigned bumper and boot-lid. The interior of the sedan has now been spied and showcases the design overhaul.

The steering wheel features silver accents and gets mounted controls, while the instrumentation is an analogue setup with a digital MID in between. The centre console features dials for the automatic climate control system and there’s a metallic finish under the central AC vents that has integrated buttons. The climate control dials and AC vents appear to have been lifted off the Fiat 500X. We also see a silver garnish around the gear lever and a power socket just ahead of it, along with an armrest in the middle. There’s a new head unit for the infotainment system as well that sits above the AC vents.

Overall, the cabin seems to have been designed from scratch and gets a few premium touches. More details will be revealed at the Istanbul motor show.
