First Ford v Ferrari film trailer released

The first official trailer of the upcoming Hollywood flick, Ford v Ferrari is out. It tells the story about one of the motorsport's greatest rivalries. 

The movie is set in 1966. At the time Ferrari was dominating at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. Henry Ford II took up the challenge to beat the red team in one of the world's toughest endurance races. He roped in Carroll Shelby to develop a car that could compete with Ferrari for 24 hours straight. Shelby had just 90 days to build it. The car, as we know, was the Ford GT40, that went on to win Le Mans four consecutive times.

In the lead role is Matt Damon, who plays Carroll Shelby, while Christian Bale plays the role of British racing driver Ken Miles. Miles raced the GT40 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965 and 1966.
