Fifth-gen Supra interiors spied

Earlier this week, the Toyota Supra prototype made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now, spy images of the interiors have surfaced online.

The photos of the interiors confirm the similarities with the upcoming BMW Z5. The 3-spoke steering wheel gets buttons which seem to have been taken from BMW. The car gets slim AC vents with an infotainment screen at the top, a BMW-like gear lever and a rotary dial which looks similar to an iDrive controller. While most of the interiors were covered, the electronic parking brake, a cupholder and circular volume knobs of the infotainment system were visible.

The Supra will get an inline-six cylinder petrol engine at the front powering the rear wheels. The car is based on a platform co-developed by Toyota and BMW. The Toyota Supra is scheduled to go on sale in the first half of 2019.
