Deliveries of locally built Range Rover Sport begin in India

The Range Rover Sport is available in Dynamic SE trim priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom).

JLR has announced the commencement of deliveries of the made-in-India Range Rover Sport.

The locally-built Range Rover Sport was launched in May this year. The SUV is available in Dynamic SE trim priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom).

In India, the Range Rover Sport is offered with two engine options. These include a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol that makes 394 BHP and 550 Nm and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel that delivers 346 BHP and 700 Nm.

The Range Rover Sport is based on the MLA-Flex platform and features Dynamic Air Suspension and Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control. The SUV has features like soft-close doors, a 4-zone automatic climate control, rear seat entertainment, heated and ventilated front seats, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 360-degree camera to name a few.

Besides the Range Rover Sport, JLR also assembles the Evoque, Velar, Discovery Sport and Jaguar F-Pace at its Pune plant.
