Chip shortage effect: BMW 330Li M Sport loses features

It is still unclear if there has been a price correction of 330Li M Sport variant.

The semiconductor shortage has come to haunt BMW India. It has resulted in some features being deleted from the latest edition of the 330Li M Sport.

The 330Li M Sport variant of the 3 Series Gran Limousine no longer gets a head-up display, comfort access and 360-degree camera. BMW is also said to have replaced the Harman Kardon speakers. That said, cosmetic details like the 18-inch alloy wheels, sporty bumpers, badging and M steering wheel remain unchanged.

It is still unclear if there has been a price correction as the M Sport variant now has fewer features compared to the 330Li Luxury Line.

The 330Li M Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that puts out 255 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,550-4,400 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
