Checked out the RE Goan Classic 350; Initial impressions

I was informed that delivery of the Goan 350 may take an additional 20-25 days

BHPian TorqueyTechie recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

I was invited to the unveiling of the new Goan 350 motorcycle at the dealership where I had purchased my bike. Since I was free at the time, I decided to visit the dealership. There were very few people present, and I, along with a prospective customer, was invited to unveil the bike, which we happily agreed to do.

The model on display was the Rave Red version, which I was told is the most expensive in the lineup. The color scheme looked fantastic, and the paint job was great. One of the nicest features was the well-integrated saree guard, which looked like it belonged on the bike.

As for the bike itself, it is based on a classic platform and produces around 20 bhp (27 Nm of torque). It has tubeless cross-spoke wheels and all-LED lighting, with forward-set footpegs. The ape-style handlebar felt comfortable, though I'll reserve final judgment until I can test ride it on the road. Seat height is 750mm and I (174cms tall) was able to flat foot easily.

The bike comes with split seats, with the rider's seat being comfortable, but the pillion seat is a bit narrow. The on-road price for the Rave Red variant tops out at ₹2.98 lakh. Only the Teal color option comes with a chrome exhaust, while all other variants have a blacked-out exhaust.

I was informed that delivery of the Goan 350 may take an additional 20-25 days and the test rides should start by the upcoming weekend.
