Bought back my pre-owned Kawasaki Ninja 650 after just 180 km

The bike had hardly been ridden since the time I sold it.

So yes the bike is back. Guess some things are just meant to be.

On 1st December got up to a gloomy and rainy morning in Pune. My phone buzzed with a reminder "Ninja 650 service due". As a norm, I service all my bikes and car in December. Just keeps it easier to keep track of.

Anyways did not know whether to laugh or cry. I had been regretting every single day about selling it. As a courtesy, I buzzed the gentleman who bought it along with the garage's number where I used to service it.

I got a msg from him saying "I don't even use it, don't know why I got it. Do u want it back?"

I was a bit shocked and taken aback. I had to confirm with him if he was joking or serious. He said he has not even filled fuel in it once since the time he had bought it. Done 180kms precisely. Heck, he had not even washed it once.

With my upgrade plans pushed back by 18 months or so, it was either this or no riding at all. Took the leap of faith and bought back Mr Green home.

Congratulations Hamza. Man, this is exactly the kind of story that makes fairy tales! A little twist to an old saying, “if you love something (someone), set it free, if it is yours, it will come back to you”. Seems this bike has been ordained for you.

Please do think a thousand times if you ever decide to sell her again, the fairy tale may not be repeated.
