BMW launches M6 Gran Coupe at Rs. 1.75 crore

German automaker, BMW has launched the M6 Gran Coupe in India at a price of Rs. 1.75 crore (ex-showroom, all India).

The M6 Gran Coupe is the high performance version of the 6 Series Gran Coupe and has been engineered by BMW's M Division. The M6 Gran Coupe sports a 4395 cc, turbocharged, V8 engine that pumps out 560 PS and 680 Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed M double clutch automatic transmission. This is the same engine - gearbox combination that is used in the M5 sedan and M6 coupe. BMW claims the M6 Gran Coupe can do the 0-100 kph sprint in 4.2 seconds and run on to an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph.

BMW has given the M6 Gran Coupe with features like adaptive LED headlights with DRLs, headlight washer system, M carbon roof, 20-inch alloy wheels. Coming to the interiors, there is automatic climate control, multifunctional steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats, satellite navigation, head up display, Bang & Olufsen audio system and Park Distance Control with a rear view camera.

The M6 Gran Coupe will compete against the Audi RS7, which was launched in January this year at Rs. 1.29 crore.
